A little about us…

For over 50 years Commercial Printing has been recognized as South Central Kentucky’s leading provider of professional quality printed products. Founded as Lancaster Printing and Office Supplies in 1958 by Max Lancaster, Commercial Printing came into an existence in the late 1960′s when two of Max’s employees purchased the business and continued to operate on the cutting edge of their craft until 2003 when current owner Willie Dick, himself also a long time employee, purchased the business. Since that time we’ve expanded our offset and letterpress capabilities, while also adding modern digital processes to our work. We’re proud to be Somerset’s oldest operating printing shop and grateful to our generations of loyal clients who have come to know us as the best. While other printing operations, from large chains to inexperienced startups, have come and gone we’ve remained, bolstered by our excellent customer service and vastly superior quality.

We ship an extensive offering of top quality finished products to clients from a variety of industries across the country. We offer letterpress, offset and digital printing capabilities and our in house design staff ensures that you’ll be pleased with the design of your piece, before going to print, so that there are no surprises down the road.

We operate in a 6,000 + square foot facility in historic Downtown Somerset and are open Monday – Friday in order to personally serve each client. We take no shortcuts. We don’t tack on additional charges. We’re a small town company with national reach that takes pride in our relationship with each client, as we have for generations, and produces a product that is second to none.
